I brought my heads to be resurfaced by Kisling. When I got them back there was visible scratches leading to chamber to chamber. I was unhappy with the work so I took it to a DIFFERENT SHOP to do it right. After a few stories about Kisling's work and the people he pi$$ed off other shops know his Name well when ever they get a customer in complaining about him and how he robbed them of there money and by screwing up the work causing it to get more costly for the customer. Took the head from my tractor to Larry after a freeze out plug rotted through. I found him to be competent and easy to work with. The shop's prices are reasonable and the turn around time for my job was measured in hours, not days. He also took the time to answer my questions to help the reassembly job go smoothly. The tractor's now running fine without any leaks.

Had Larry fix my 1957 Chevy engine block another machine shop left almost unusable, Not sure about these other negative comments below, but Larry was very nice, quickly repair the block and my Dad, Mark Berkley "real person" put that block together and said everything went together perfect. Larry just does the machine work, you still have to know how to put it all back together or hire someone that can, so I can see where the inexperienced could run into problems rebuilding the block.

To the fellow that made the outragious comment about Larry Kisling Machine ! Ive been taking engine jobs to him for 30 years and have never once had a problem. If there ever would have been a problem Larry would have taken care of it for me!!!!AND TO NICKY V. EuroE28 I feel your pain. He is a jurk that doesnt care. Let's put it this way if that car was black he can talk you into thinking it was white. Seems nice a first but really he is a con man ask any other machine shop In grand junction. I hope I saved you time and $$ by writing this. Do not go here!! And markberkley (fake name) I wouldn't be surprised if your Larry kisling him self!!!

Stay away, unless you want to spend a huge amount of money, wait a ridiculous amount of time and end up with a shot lived, garbage engine. This, without a doubt, is the worst machine job I have ever had! I have worked on dozens of engines over almost 40 years and this is the only total crap job I've ever had. The cylinders were .015 oversize, they were way out on taper and roundness, the valves all leaked, the the heads were not smooth nor flat and the rod ends were all wrong.
