Excellent place to stay! Very clean. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Sandy, the owner, is a lovely lady. They take the extra time to make the grounds beautiful. The breakfast was fantastic! We stayed the weekend to go to the Renaissance Festival. I would highly recommend staying here. My friends & I will stay here again.
The staff took pride in everything they presented. The breakfast was delicious. The little garden and path are adorable. We plan on coming back.
I found out about Kirkwood Inn through my sister. Here daughter has cancer and went to mason for therapy. My sister found the Inn on the internet. I'm so glad she did. Sandy the owner is so kind and is friendly. She treats you like family. The office staff and cleaning staff have done a fantastic job. The rooms are the cleanest rooms I have ever stayed in. Cleaned throughly. Not hit and miss. Behind the inn is where breakfast is served in a welcoming home where Pat lays a beautiful spread of food. DELICIOUS pat is such a swe... read more
Very nice, quiet, quaint, and friendly place. A bit off the beaten path but conveniently located. Charming!
Came by this place by chance and are so lucky we did. Wonderful people working there housekeeping were friendly, staff watering the beautiful flowers and the nice lady working breakfast made it feel like home. (Which is where breakfast was served) Even if your a local resident it is well worth a visit.
I needed a place to stay and this was the only room I found available. Realize this is rated against other hotels in it's caliber. The grounds were amazing (5 star). The breakfast was a very nice continental breakfast but things had been freshly prepared (5 star). The room, and grounds were very clean (5 star). The AC worked but was a bit loud and seemed to run a lot (4 star). The bed was clean and sound (4 star) and on par or better than most from a Hampton, Marriott, Fairfield Inn that have been open for a few years. The h... read more
