If I could give zero stars I would. At beginning when moving in, the process was easy and smooth. Until summer hits and your apartment feels like an oven! The ac unit only blows air directly in front of the living room ( 5 feet max ) and that’s it. The hot water is always being shut off by Kirkwood. Tenants are responsible for water but it’s split per the whole building usage, you will see other tenants washing their cars with a hose coming out of their apartment window. Cheaper apartments with more honest and accessible parking practices are available within walking distance of Metro. I've been towed twice and won in adjudication months later after dealing with the headache. It is now 12:53am and I still can't enjoy my own home because Kirkwood's solution to jammed parking was to implement "reserved Metro parking" mid-lease. So you can be scammed or not go home. Living here almost 20 years having no major issues the complex is always kept clean, maintenance is very good and the office is available to you to call in. The major issue is parking due to non-resident parking on the premises.
