Buyer beware. I am not telling anyone not to purchase a vehicle from Kirkpatrick Auto sales, but I am not encouraging it either. I am hopeful my experience may prevent someone from losing thousands of dollars. I noticed a pickup for sale on the lot. After a week, the vehicle was sold. I wouldn’t recommend using this dealer.. He’s a nice guy but the cars he sells are in poor condition. You need to bring a mechanic with you and do a thorough inspection on the car you are looking at purchasing. I got in a hurry and unfortunately bought a car from Kirkpatrick and had to spend $3000 to replace the timing chain, sprocket,, brakes and rotors, headlights, and do touch up paint on a tri-color car.
Bought a mini Cooper and on the test drive I noticed windows would not roll down so I told The Kirkpatrick salesman I would need the windows fixed before I would make a deal so he he told Mike the owner of this so Mike wrote on contract he would fix the windows. So he gave me the name of his mechanic and I took it to him but he said he did not have the computer system to fix a BMW product but it may be under recall warranty call the dealership. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Do not finance through these people… they came and took my car from my place of work without telling me even though I told him if there was an issue I would put the rest down to pay it off. We get here and they say they’re not going to give a courtesy call because someone would go hide the car. How the hell am I supposed to do that when I’m out and about cleaning houses? Huh? Honestly? My elderly father, an honored disabled veteran drove over from arkansas and purchased a kia soul. First after taking almost all day just to get a temp tag on the car the paperwork was pushed through. He accepts the mistake he made just signing it. But after i got involved and seen first he paid full price without any nego on the sticker for a very old car. Then they added 399.00 processing fee.
