Worst ever. DO NOT apply. Our application was approved and we paid the deposit, but they rejected us when they received another application? This company is dishonest & unprofessional. They have ZERO respect in people’s time & efforts!
Do not apply through them. After paying the deposit, submitting the application, getting on a call, and being accepted. They rejected us one month before we could move in. Pathetic and unprofessional behavior, smug liars. Never approach them!
My son (junior at nearby college at the time) rented from their Comm Ave building and I co-signed on the lease. The rent was reasonable and Kinross RE was very professional and easy to work with. Colby was attentive and responded promptly to issues my son encountered during his stay. And Kinross is one of the few landlords that returned the entire month deposit PLUS interest earned, as we left the unit the way we found it -- clean and with no damages. I recommend renting from Kinross RE.
On the rare occasion that they actually contact you when they say they will, you can be assured that critical information will be incorrect, such as the names or dates on the lease, and of course any corrections will take an absurd amount of time to be made. In addition, you can expect a property manager who lies to appraisers directly in front of tenants who know what is being said is false. Kinross has been the best property management company I’ve ever worked with. Just wrapped a 3 year rental before moving out of state. They were fast, accommodating, professional, and just plain good at what they do. If only all property managers handled their business like Kinross does.
