My son was admitted to the ER last February by ambulance after a full cardiac arrest. He was intubated and on a ventilator. When we arrived, about 45 minutes had passed. He must have been stabilized because no one was present with him in the room. He was lying in a pool of blood surrounded by filthy equipment. Under his stretcher was a pool of blood that was nearly dried. Health Hazard: A dirty room and unchanged linens can lead to infections or worsen a patient’s condition. Cleanliness is essential in healthcare environments to prevent the spread of germs and ensure a safe recovery space. Called on Aug. 26th and barley got a phone call on Sept. 16, 2024.
HCA Kingwood deserves negative stars. Dirty. Incompetent. Negligent. Go anywhere else but here.
THE ONLY REASON THIS IS NOT A COMPLIANT IS BECAUSE KINGWOOD MEDICAL TOOK OVER 2 YEARS TO CONDUCT THEIR QUALITY OF CARE REVIEW AND COMPLAINTS CAN ONLY BE FILED WITHIN A YEAR OF SERVICE. January 2015 I took my 1.5 year old daughter with a fever and trouble sleeping to Kingwood Medical Center walk-in ER. The doctor was very dismissive, did not perform any tests or cultures, said my daughter had tonsillitis and prescribed an antibiotic. Nice ER staff and the day staff on the 3rd floor are very nice.
Parking in section"C" is horrible due to construction!!
The staff of the neuro intensive care unit are wonderful. Visiting hours are strict but that is so they can do their job. Very good at giving updates to family members.
I pulled a muscle in my lower back, I have medical insurance, after telling them that's why I came here and not the ER and getting very upset they saw me! I guess everyone was just having a bad day!
Women's center is great!! Very friendly staff!! went to express care on 1/25/13 was told that I didn't have a medical emergency so I needed to go to my PCP, after getting upset they saw me. Not happy!
