The black male triage nurse refused service to me at the ER because he was having a bad day, my concern wasn't that serious to him, and has the authority to do so. Terrible human being. Many hospitals that serve the poor, middle class, Medicaid recipients have awful people we have to combat before we get the help we need. Our lives and our concerns don't matter that much to them. Giving this hospital 1 star is being very generous! DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS HOSPITAL! unless you want to be disrespected, neglected, and starved!! I Am self discharging!! This place and the employees are RIDICULOUS! How am I in a hospital and I have to walk and bring along my I V in order to reach a NURSE! NO WORKING CALL LIGHTS! Excellent experience with Sharon A Taylor CNM, saved my sisters life; went to Gyn Family urgent care for GYN follow up. Upon her assessement of my sister discovered she was very sick. My sister was misdiagnosed from a previous doctor. She sent her to ER. Thank God for her expertise dedication. My sister had Walking Pneumonia. Brookdale should recognize people like Sharon A Taylor- Smalls. A true asset to the community.
Terrible there especially the er nurses. My mom went there today to the er last night and the was so rude. Some of them really don't belong in jobs dealing with people. She had the nerves to sit there and say it's greed have some people punishing how they come this country just to work a little and go back. She doesn't know my mom she knows nothing about her for her to say that how dare she how dare anyone say that to a patient seeking help or anyone for matter.
In September 2, 2013 I was rushed to the hospital by an ambulance. I could not talk and walk. I collapse on the floor while getting ready my 1yr son. He cried for his sister to come and help. I had a Brain Injury from an accident when I fell. God is good all the time. The Nurses, Doctors, Ekgs everyone took care of me. It is now 2017 I am walking but my speech is slowly but surely returning. Thanks to my 2 kids who found me. I see everything but could not speak. The transfusion of blood was perfect.
