I would recommend this place for short term or, if you're low maintenance, long-term renting. Brian keeps the riff-raff away and outta there! Place is lit up safely at night and his security including loud speaker made the solo gal feel safe. Nicest guy you could meet, will give a hand up and work with you if you're honest, sober and trying! Thank you Brian... this.place was there when I needed it and I am grateful!!
I have been living here at Kings Rest now for a while now and tbh I didn't know what to expect here seeing as it's right here on Colfax with Wadsworth being so close. I wasn't expecting to feel so safe actually. Brian was a very welcoming and no-nonsense type of guy. People say he takes his job too seriously but wouldn't you if you had to manage and place surrounded by homelessness and drug addiction? Some years ago after the year of COVID house arrests, I lost my home when my landlords sold. I was in Denver with my two cats in a heat wave and got a referral to Brian and Sarah at the Kings Rest. They accepted my application which was a blessing for me and Kitty cats. It's right off Colfax which was not a normal situation or one I would choose. I lived there for a year and some.
