I've been visiting this Home Hardware location for almost two years now, regularly getting keys copied and receiving a student discount every time—until today. When I went in to copy some keys, I was suddenly refused the student discount. Love this store and the staff that work there. Used to work downtown and choose to continue to go to this store even though I have retired. Staff always so pleasant and helpful. I was there today to get a bulb for my fridge and a fuse for my stove and wanted to exchange a can of spray paint I bought months ago (I bought 2 and only used one) and when I went to use it, nothing came out. This is my favourite shop in Peterborough. Staff are incredibly helpful and they have such a great variety of things that you wouldn't expect in a small store. And the bulk fasteners/nuts/bolts aisle is a dream for problem solving little fixes of things.
