best taco joint in socal – very spacious, clean, and a huge parking lot compared to the king tacos in los angeles. hands down best carne asada tacos and burritos. carne asada nacho cheese is to die for. plus the service is quick. did i mention that they are very generous on the meat, perfectly marinated (with a hint of lime), red hotsauce is very spicy (the weak, beware) and green sauce makes your meal taste fresh. i order pineapple juice (pina) which compliments the meal quite well. feel free to ask for extra onions/cilantr... read more

Best Burritos around – Fresh, delicious, cheap and the hot sauce is great. Best breakfast burritio I've ever had! (and I've had a lot)

Really good food. – What a hoot! I asked the girl at the counter for food that was not spicy. She assured me that none of their food was spicy. My mistake for asking a Mexican about cosas piquantes. The food is great, but you might want skip the hot sauce. The costillas de puerco en salsa roja are fantastic (pork ribs in red sauce). There was too much sauce and veggies on the chiles rellenos. Next time I will ask for sauce on the side. The burritos are good, and the sopes are great. I am going to try the chichrones con nopal... read more

one good taco – this place is great. I go there for breakfast sometimes and get the machaca. ummm.hmmm. I'm going there in a few minutes cause I'm getting a hankering for some mex. One thing though, for this gringo, I get the salsa on the side. Their salsas are good but really hot, if you let them they will put it in your food and you might not like it that hot and well, you would have a bad impression

Awesome Food! – While I also like El Taurino, I come to King Taco, because the service is better. I dont get charged extra for things like extra sauce. Also, the lines are usually shorter. The carne asada burritos rock. Also, the carne Asada nachos are also good! and the $0.99 tamales are good too.

Taco Heaven – King Taco knows what they do and they do it well. If you love Baja style tacos, this is the place to get them in mass quantities. They wrap two tacos into individual foil wrapers and they remain hot until you can get to the table, or even all the way home. This is not a place to get extravagant service or huge amounts of cultural atmoshpere. It's all about the food and the speed. If you love fresh tamales, go early. Once they're out for the day, they're out until the next day.

Love their red sauce! – They have really the best tacos and burritos in LA (possibly anywhere?). On a side note, on a recent trip to Mexico, I ordered tacos and expected King Taco and was highly disappointed. Anyway, burritos are about $4 and tacos are $1.15. Both are not the big portion-wise, but quality really rocks here. Always get the red sauce. The green sauce is a little sour, but another great idea is getting both sauces. I'm an average-to-big eater, and I can get full off of 1 taco and 1 burrito. It's may be good the... read more

One of the best! – If you're looking for a good burrito and taco then this is the place to come. They do have a recipe though, and it's delicious! The only drawback is that their burritos are not as big as other restaurant's. The good thing is they open pretty late and whenever I get hungry, I'll just hop on down here sinced I live down the street.

Solid, not great – King Taco (on Peck Rd.) is a solid, authentic Mexican dive for great tacos, but I've eaten better. In fact, King Taco's OTHER location (in Pasadena) has better tasting meats for their tacos, and is cleaner. You come here for slamming down tacos, plain and simple. Good stuff, and very authentic, but the Carnitas, Carne Asada and Sesos were all "solid" but not the best I've ever had. It's cheap - like $1 per taco, so it's a good deal. The Carnitas I had, for example, was far too greasy and just not that tast... read more
