Best Carne Asada Tacos, Sopes! – I have been comming here for years, they have the BEST carne asada tacos and Sopes. Yes, the decor is not that great but the food totally makes up for it. I live in West Hollywood and drive all the way to this spot when I want genuine mexican food. I love that they open at 830am cause sometimes you want lunch food for breakfast.
The Quintessential LA Taco – King Taco is like the In N Out for Tacos in LA. A place that ex-Angeleno taco fans go to right after landing at LAX when coming back to visit. The smells and tastes of their authentic and delicous Mexican items are the kind that will stay in your memory forever, no matter where you might venture in life. Burritos, tacos and sopes - OH MY! – This is my all time favorite place to get tacos (the soft kind). I've been a patron since they opened in '74. (Wait I wasn't born yet!!) But anyway, I've been to every single King Taco From East L.A. to the SGV. Sure, some are better than others, but they are all pretty consistent. The East L.A. location has to be my favorite.
