It was a little pricy. Nice oyster selection though.
The food that is served is tender, mouth watering, fresh, crisp, very tasty and delicious everytime I've eaten here. I have had the privilege of enjoying the following: Whole Main Lobster, the Two Lobster Tails, Fillet Mignon, Prime Rib, the 1/2 Dozen Oyster Sampler, Steamed Asparagus, Sweet Corn on the Cob, Roasted Beets Salad and I believe it was an Apple-pie Ala Mode with a Caramel Drizzle
RecommendedI'm a regular fan of the King's restaurants in various locations. So, when I found myself in the area looking for a lunch stop we jumped at the opportunity to stop in. Unfortunately, this was the first visit where the food just wasn't up to par. I ordered the hazelnut crusted salmon which just wasn't what I expected. Crab cakes were excellent. Tasted sand dabs and they were good. Key lime pie and creme brûlée was good!!
Love the fish. The menu changes with the seasons and promotes fresh catches. For a lighter touch I order a crab and shrimp Cobb salad it is large enough to share oh and the warm sourdough bread is addictive
Food was delicious and the waitress Yesina was the bomb, was so nice and very attentive, will go back :) only down fall was expensive, but so worth what we had, so I can't complain lol
I love to eat at a kings Fish House. I will go out of my way to find one. Yesterday I took a friend to the one in San Diego, however I was a little disappointed in my meal. Had the fried fish platter and the scallops and shrimp were obviously out of a box and over cooked almost to the point of being burned. Should have returned them. First substandard meal I have been served there.
The food was amazing and the Manager Carlos was such a pleasure to speak with. When in San Diego a must try. I'll definitely will be back.
