Had lunch here today with the family. Only one of us had eaten here before. Today our food was absolutely delicious, and the server was excellent. I had to take home a couple of pieces of my cajun fish filets, and they were still very tasty. I've never had cold leftover fish that was any good at all. We will be back again, and hope our future meals are as good as it was today.
Normally, I love this place but tonight I was very disappointed. They need to hire more servers because once we got our food and drinks we couldn't get any service. We all ran out of our drink and our server could not be found to ask for a refill nor did she ever stop to see how we were doing. I ordered sweet tea and my son Dr. Pepper and I ended up with unsweet tea and he got a coke, we couldn't even get her to stop to get us the correct drinks. My mom and I used to eat there about once a month. After she passed away last year I've probably eaten there 4 or 5 times. My servers have always been attentive and very friendly. The quality of the food has varied quite a bit - sometimes piping hot and others lukewarm. And they definitely need to salt the fish more. But good most of the time.
