Specialties Great for a quick lunch or dinner. Great medium sized live music venue and best spot in Grandview to watch sports. History Established in 2005. After spending 10 + years at the Varsity Club as bartender, manager and GM, I decided in early 2004 to convert an old machine shop, built in the late 1940's, into King Ave 5. In 2010 we had the opportunity to add a live music venue to the mix. It's completely separated from the main side, giving us the flexibility to do much more than just sports.
