⛔ DONT GO HERE!!! ⛔ - Here is my long story/ short: I tried to reach ANY case manager during my dad's 15 days stay in April 2019. A few days after my father was admitted I only spoke with Kenny (for admissions info) and since then I’ve been calling him and Tania for updates but noone ever returned my calls. BEWARE!!!!!!! Kindred is a FOR PROFIT organization. It appears payments are being used for personal gain; hospital is run down with very low standards. They obviously are not using Medicare payments for patient care. I plan on reporting this hospital to Medicare for investigation! My mother was NEGLECTED & went downhill rapidly after being transferred from a local hospital for pulmonary care & MINOR surgery. This place is where people that are not loved go to die so if you love your family member don't leave them at Kindred acute rehab on van buren street. My mother was confused but had complained about being left all night without a drink of water and laying in her own feces for hours. I complained but it was her word against theirs. She developed a bed ulcer from being left in the same position all day and night. I got her out of there and had to admit her back to the hospital
