RecommendedMy uncle just passed this week from lung cancer. He had palliative care through Kindred and changed over to hospice. Christine Avenger was his nurse practitioner. She was absolutely amazing. When there was nothing else we could do for my uncle, she took care of me with kind, understanding words of encouragement. Please never use Kindred Hospice Orlando. We have had 2 horrible experiences in the last 10 mo. They are not there for the patients and we even had a nurse tell us that she could not come visit until she was tested for COVID? What???? So today nearly 2 weeks later she showed up and I guess now she has been tested...well she called and said your Mother is in her final stage. Wow! Thank you for all the care. RecommendedFrom the moment we called for assistance at the end of our mother's life, Kindred nurses were excellent counselors, available and professional caregivers. The support we received, even in a short amount of time, was invaluable.

RecommendedMy wife had Kindred Hospice. The nurses and aides were awesome. They became friends. My wife looked forward to their visits and missed them when they left. With their and the Pastorial support received from Kindred,the last few months of her life were peaceful. They all know what to say and do to put her at ease. Kindred Hospice was a blessing. They are all fantastic!
