If you are looking for quality care to provide to a loved one, I would highly encourage you to pursue other options apart from Kindred. While their level of professionalism was impressive at first, they do not deliver the kind of care that was assured we would receive for my mom through a very difficult stage of her life. Their ability to punctually communicate is completely absent, and the level of skilled professionals they sent to our home was disturbing. I had a very poor experience with Kindred and am writing in hopes that other people are able to avoid adding additional stress to an already stressful life situation. I found several caregiving services that provided exceptional help when I needed it most. Unfortunately, Kindred was the first company I utilized not realizing how many other great options are available. Been working with Kindred at Home for two months. Would not recommend that you consider this company. Many problems from the beginning and today, I was left without help and could not get to a family funeral because the caregiver had a family emergency and could not make it. Normally I would understand to a degree however they new about this this morning and left a very nonspecific message.
