Staff have missed / not recorded many things my children have said that are extremely important and relevant for our custody case. Kinark has now failed to communicate for 3 weeks regarding their actions, have stated in emails they should follow up and haven't continued questions from 3 weeks ago regarding a child protection matter. Since then I've spoken to a supervisor and manager and neither will give me a clear answer. From their emails it is clear they believe their time too valuable to give me a detailed answer and only want to give partial answers to specific aspects of the situation. Overall, I’m grateful that the Access Centre provided a generally safe place for my children. The process and ongoing scheduling was needlessly complicated and time consuming. I often felt that if I wasn’t incredibly accommodating to last minute scheduling requests, I’d be portrayed in a negative light in the eyes of the court and was reminded of this by the scheduler repeatedly.
