Sylvia is the absolute nicest person here and she just makes every visit with my daughter and I about US, she doesn’t interject and and try to stop my daughter and I from spending time together (the little time we have together that is), AND she just gives off the typical loving grandmother vibe, she has actually given me great advice over the years as well, my daughter and I both agree that Sylvia at Peterborough Kinark is the nicest and most kind employee here. If you want to go to a place that steals away your childs hopes and dreams come to Kinark. They will make your child feel crazy with their stupid tests and recommend medication. These people are lunatics! Stay far away!!
Kinark helped us develop tools that we can use to help our child manage intense emotions. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and worked well with my child.
I took the "positive parenting course", and the 2 staff members were more focused with the answers of the parent that had only 8 months of part time parenting, rather than the parent that was a full time parent of 80 months!!!
