quick service Mr. Kim is a pretty relaxed guy, waiting room is spartan, but for $44 got the oil change and break service.. took like 25 mins top.. in and out really quickly
I went to this shop because I had a check engine light on. I was referred to Mr. Kim as I was in LA to visit my friend and didn't know where to go. He checked to see exactly why it came on. Fortunately it was because my gas cap was cracked. Honesty is so hard to find especially in a mechanic. If you want an honest accurate knowledgeable mechanic this is where you want to go.
I called other shops and was quoted such ridiculously high prices for my brakes that nothing matched my budget. Finally, I called them and let them know about my budget and they were able to explain my options. They explained the difference in pricing and why they charge what they charge based on objective labor guides (something other shops apparently don't adhere to). my husband and i have been here at least 3 times. this is how much we trust the service here esp when we have big repairs. one time, kims charged us about $200 less than what a mechanic in bellflower charged us for the same service.
Kim always fixes my car for all major stuff. Trustworthy and fast. i've taken 4 different cars to him, Ford, Mazda, Nissan and Honda, they do a great job! i highly recommend it to all my friends.
You know the commercial that says "now you have a friend in the diamond business." Ladies and gentlemen, now you have a friend in the mechanic business. Mr. Kim rules. Service is excellent but seriously for me the most important thing is he's trustworthy. No joke one time he did some work on my '91 Ford Explorer, when it came time to pay the bill I was shocked at how little he was charging-- I actually tried to pay more but he wouldn't accept it!! We were driving from Arizona to Oregon when our truck started overheating. We were in crazy traffic at right before 6pm. Pulled over and googled a shop on 9th street and headed that way. Tons of auto repair shops and they were all closed, except Kim's. Pulled in and he told us no worries he could get us on the road in the morning, just needed to order a part. Mr Kim is amazing! Awesome quality work. Rebuilt my transmission and brakes on my Volvo s80 on separate times and happy with all work definitely recommend.
I had serious problems with the cam phaser on my 2005 Ford expedition. Being an industrial mechanic i am fully capable of dismantling and making major repairs to automobiles.
