I came in with a fractured right heel and shattered left heel & ankle joint. Dr. Workman chose to put a cast on the left. I asked if surgery would benefit me, she said no. At the 2m check up, when no progress, I asked about surgery. She replied “I am THE SPECIALIST. If you continue to question me, we won’t have a good working relationship”. My visit was short and businesslike. Dr Workman did not seem to have a lot of time to listen. She was in and out. I still have questions. There was definitely a lack of empathy. My problem was addressed for short term but long term was left up in the air with some questions ignored. Would go somewhere else but I’m locked in here. The place has a very cattle call atmosphere.
Dr Workman was the surgeon who treated me for my complex LisFranc injury. Thanks to her I am back on my feet again. She was wonderful to work with. I was very badly injured and now have a lot of hardware in my foot. Nevertheless the pain has been minimal and after a lot of PT I’ve pretty much made a full recovery. So friendly and very informative. Kind nature and understood my needs. Got me in for surgery sooner than orginally planned. Surgery went well. Came out and informed my husband of everything that was done so I would know. Great ankle doctor. Highly recommend her
