My son had a chronic cough for most of his life (5 years old) & Dr. Burns just kept prescribing him cough medicine that did not help. I asked on several occasions if his cough could be allergy related & she never once tried to see if that was the case. I finally took matters into my own hands & took my son to an allergist. After CT scans showed serious sinus blockage & medications did not help, he was referred to an ENT. My son had his tonsils/adenoids removed to relieve the sinus blockage.
We have been using Dr. Burns since my oldest son was born. That was 15 years ago. She is been through many different illnesses with our family, and I wouldn't trade her for anyone else in the world. The nurses, especially Ms. Tina, Ms. Sharon and Miss Jessie are amazing. The staff is also amazing and very timely.
I have been bringing my children to WKS Pediatrics since they were born. We moved to Dr. Burns in the last few years after Dr. Rao retired. I love this office and would not have my children cared for by anyone else. Dr. Burns has an excellent bedside manner and cares for her patients. Very thankful for her and her staff.
I love Dr Burns - she's wonderful with kids and with parents. :-)
Dr.Burns has been in our lives for 10yrs and we are in awe of her. She takes her time with my kids and ask them questions to make sure everything is ok on their end not from my end as the parent.
She has been my daughter's pediatrician since she was brought into the world.
