I was very pleased with the doctors and staff. Everyone was very professional and caring. Dr. Furry took the time to explain what she would be doing during the procedure and answered my questions, setting my mind at ease. After confirming I was totally numb, she demonstrated how I would feel the pressure as she was working, but no pain. I felt very comfortable and in good hands through the whole thing.
Dr. Furry is very straightforward and no nonsense, but did a fantastic job with both of my surgeries. Following a plate removal six months after the initial surgery, Dr. Furry took the time to personally call me in a Sunday to check that everything was OK and answer some questions I had. I’d trust Dr. Furry and the team at Mercy Orthapedics to take good care of me or any member of our family in the future.
DO NOT GO TO HER. She should lose her license because she clearly has forgotten her Hippocratic oath. Horrible care. I’m now seeing another orthopedic specialist who actually listens and cares. I developed an excruciating complication from a broken humerus. Dr. Furry not only had no interest in getting me out of pain, but also wouldn't even try to figure why I was in so much pain.
