Dr. Matzie was the second person that I've seen for my condition. I'm in the wheelchair which brings with it certain challenges. The first doctor that's all was unwilling to work with me in terms of being examined. On the other hand Dr. Matzie and her staff were very easy to work with and took the time to listen to my concerns.
No review words could ever be enough to thank and applaud a skilled surgeon and compassionate human being: Dr. Matzie. When I was referred to her care, I presented to her office for my first visit teary and hopeless about my physical challenges. Decades of trying to adapt and withstand had withered my resilience. Dr. Matzie listened, understood, and then went into action. She formulated a plan which eventuated into a very creative and amazingly successful surgery. I'm so blessed and grateful.

Dr. Matzie was excellent! She found the problem, explained all about it and then explained what needed to be done. I wish I would have known about her last year when my issues started. Well worth driving the hour to get to her.
Dr. Matzie truly is the best! She performed a section/re-section after finding colon cancer on a routine colonoscopy. Best bedside manner, attention to detail, skilled hands, fantastic communicator, and extremely intelligent. She actually hears what you say and will address your concerns in detail. I would choose no other. I am still on this earth because of Dr. Matzie and her skill as a doctor/surgeon. I feel she is the best of the best & highly recommend her!!!
Dr. Matzie was excellent in explaining in detail my medical problem and asked if I had any questions for her. She is a very good listener which is rare in today's hectic environment. She provided me with samples which was of great help. Thank you Dr. Matzie.
