Love this place!!! .not from Houston an in Michigan Chinese food is prepared differently xoxoxo..(i miss it so)however I've been trying out different Chinese restaurant people recommend. ..an kim son's was the best !!!the food is good the service is good an the spple saki is excellent. ..hot or cold....the hot works wonders for headaches an hangovers.
While I enjoy the food here, wait staff (including the hostess) are not very friendly. I can't say for all of the waiters, there are only a few who are nice. Being Asian, I've experienced countless of times being seated in the corner or anywhere hidden, while other people (who are not Asians) are seated mostly (not all) towards the mid section or front of the restaurant. Been going here since it was a hole in the wall restaurant in Houston in the 1970's. Not typical asian food. It's vietnamese and way better. More like what a person would eat any where.
Great food and atmosphere! Best Vietnamese Egg Rolls on the planet!
