Nice bedside manner. disappointed she wasn’t up to date in modern perimenopause therapies especially as a woman a few years older than me. Also had an issue with birth control patch rash and asked for pill instead (same exact med, just oral) She said no swap out and I’d need an appointment. Soonest appt 3.5 weeks so not ideal! Offered me another pill (different formula) while waiting but I said made me sick before. She wouldn’t budge. Was just in her office less than 2 weeks prior to this.
Dr. Shields is an amazing provider. I have been with her for over a decade and it breaks my heart that she is leaving Providence. I wish I could follow her. She is kind, knowledgeable, personable and so concerned with her patients' care. Providence, this is a huge blunder to let Dr. Kimberly Shields go.
I feel well taken care of with Dr, Shields. I'm very disappointed she is leaving Gateway Providence.
She is the best provider I have ever had.

I was saddened to hear that Dr. Shields is moving outside of Providence to an office in which most of her patients cannot afford. She has always been the best provider and will be greatly missed.
