Dr Kilmer is unapologetically honest and is brilliant, and many people don’t care for this. I find it refreshing and necessary if one is truly looking for growth, change, or advancement of self. He turned my life around. His breadth of knowledge coupled with his attention to detail and care for his patients makes him a rare gem in the world of psychology dr’s. Dr. Kilmer was great. Bear in mind, there are a lot of negative reviews regarding Dr. Kilmer, however, I found the opposite to be the case. Dr. Kilmer was thorough and respectful while remaining unbiased and neutral. Dr. Kilmer was able to deduce expertly and articulate the gatekeeping parenting style exhibited by my ex. Further, he also recommended that the parenting time be expanded to include over 100 overnights with me. Thank you, Dr. Kilmer, for all your work.

All the reviews are on par with Dr. Kilmers ability as a psychologist. I had a bad experience using him as well and would recommend to avoid his practice.

Dr. Kilmer's report was shameful, and did irreversible damage to my child's life. I could type a thorough review on him here twice the length of his report, but it is not worth my time or energy. The amount of negative reviews on here speak for themselves. My experience with Dr. Kilmer left me to conclude 1/2 certainties. He's either A.) corrupt; or B.) completely incompetent.

Dr. Kilmer completed a CFI for a court case regarding custody of a minor child. He was rude, crass, difficult, biased, assuming, incompetent and dishonest. The finding of the court did not follow his recommendation. My advice for anyone considering using his services is to find someone else and do not waste your time, money, or emotional stress dealing with someone who is so untrustworthy. If I can save just one person from having to deal with him at all, this review will be worthwhile.

He was very manipulative. He flat out said he made his decision based on his liability not his findings. The children have continued to pay the price bring isolated and confused. They have also been told by custodial parent if they ever wish to live with the other parent they will be disowned. This coming from the parent he felt should get full custody. It's a heart break for those kids.

I wish I could leave negative stars. If you are considering using Dr. Kilmer, RUN! Run away, fast and far!

My ex's obsession with his inflated and distorted view of reality is the information that Kilmer put in his report. Test results that didnt match his overview is clear this so called Dr is a hired gun look at Dora let the State lead you to the professionals - this PHD is a professional in his own mind of intimidation

It's interesting that Dr. Kilmer's reviews are extremes; 5 stars or 1 star. Likely because Kilmer is extreme and shows clear favoritism in his reports, as though he decides ahead of time who he likes and then creates proof to support his bias. We have experienced both sides. He performed a CFI where we were the perfect family, then five years later, after my husband's ex-wife had divorced her second husband, all of a sudden we were abusive and unfit. Of note, I am a therapist. DON'T USE KILMER!!
