He has been removed from the court registry to investigate family matters. The court removed him from our case and is now refusing to return our retainer.
Dr Kilmer is a good PRE. He listened, was cool with my kids and made it way less awkward. He did a fair report, and was really respectful. Would use him again in a heartbeat. He was so fair I think my ex would actually say the same thing.
Our family loved Dr Kilmer. He was nice to our kids and fair in the end. He looked at all of the evidence and went from there. Would absolutely work with him again though hopefully we won’t have to. PREs are so stressful but Dr Kilmer made is move swiftly and easily. Sorry to see so many negative reviews. I guarantee they are from people who didn’t like his outcome. My ex would have done the same thing.
Dr. Kilmer was kind and compassionate. I feel like in his line of business, there is likely often an angry party. So I really do feel bad for his reviews. I’d recommend.
Dr. Kilmer was appointed to review and refute a CFI in my custody case, without him things could have gone very differently. I was so glad I was believed and with his extensive knowledge and background knew exactly what he was dealing with. My ex is now in and out of jail for abusing his NEXT girlfriend, and getting numerous duis, etc. The CFI in my case blatantly ignored these facts and Dr. Kilmer pointed out her disregard of these facts. Thank you so much for protecting children from habitual abusers!
DORA is the state's umbrella regulatory agency, charged with managing licensing and registration for multiple professions and businesses. The records of discipline regarding this Dr are maintained on his record. He was appointed to the State of Colorado by attorney Rebecca Pepin and continues to do a great deal of business with this law firm. My grandchildren have not seen him yet. I would like more clarification on why you disagree with his finding? Is it because he did not find a problem with your children seeing the person you suspected is harming your child or is it because he did find something and now you can't see the child. Maybe he could have reviewed the case again.
I am baffled by the negative reviews. The positive reviews are on point! After reading through all of the reviews, what it looks like is people who did not get a favorable outcome in a court case are leaving bad reviews. Those of us who went to him for regular help and not in a court case, are incredibly impressed with his knowledge and ability and tact.
