Avoid North Cypress Smile Dentistry!!! New to area, I went in expecting a basic new patient cleaning and instead was taken through a very structured process—X-rays, scans, multiple staff evaluations—only to be told I had “active periodontal disease” and needed thousands of dollars in deep cleaning and treatments. I went to this dental office for an exam, cleaning, and some fillings. During my visit, they informed me that I needed a lot more work done on my teeth than I originally thought. They even offered to complete it all on the same day. After finishing the work, I paid my full balance. However, 2-3 weeks later, I received a bill for a couple of hundred dollars for work that I had not planned on having done and thought was included in my initial payment. Please, do not go to this place.
This is a suspect business. They create billing after documents are signed and bills are paid. They had me pay before the three services were performed and gave me the receipt and then tried to add money on after and refused to do the services I paid up front for unless I pay the extortion. I’m going to take them to small claims as it’s less than $6000 but they have my payment. Don’t trust them.
The staff will lie to you about the pricing. I needed a crown in the rear they told me my out of pocket would be $1252.37 which I paid them. Then when I came back for the crown to be installed they tried to charge me another $1500.00 which I refused to pay. They never once told me about another $1500.00 would be charged to finished the job. You really can't believe anything they tell you. Please don't put yourself in harms way by allowing them to touch your mouth. Beware!!!
I do not understand how there are so many 'good' reviews. I am giving this one star because the vast majority of the employees were very nice and it was very clean. I stopped going there quite some time ago. One time I was unable to login and enter the requested information online, I got to the appointment and was told I would have to reschedule my appointment, because I did not complete the information online. Great work! 3 times, 2 were emergencies with my partial. And even open on Saturdays. Large staff who try to help you with short wait time. All are so nice and efficient.
Steer clear of this place. My wife and I have a lifetime of taking good care of our teeth and dentists telling us so, including just a few months ago at our last cleaning. The first time we come here, we apparently have developed serious periodontal disease and need $1200 "deep cleanings". Look up the "deep cleaning upsell scam" on YouTube and see what dentists who do this are really up to. My visit pertained to a crown that came off after flossing. The staff were all polite and helpful. Xrays indicated all was well to proceed with reapplying the crown. Dr Copeland provided excellent care while reapplying the crown. No pain at all. She advised if it comes out again, she will make a new crown. I so much appreciated the gentle care that I had. I have been with Sabino Smiles at least for 12 years. I look forward to my next visit for dental cleaning. I highly recommend Sabino Smiles for excellent dental care!
