This place is the real deal, I got a lb of sliced brisket and a half rack of ribs. It was amazing and very good. I know my bbq extremely well and this place passed the test. Next weekend im off with is soon, ill be right b back there.
Hands down the best bbq in tulsa. While all the meats are tender, delicious, and perfectly smoked, the brisket is a tier above. It’s as good as any big name bbq in Texas, and it’s consistent week after week. However, the sides are the hidden gems. A Saturday only food trailer parked outside of an awesome coffee shop, Kill Wail Barbecue is slinging out some damn good Texas barbecue. Before opening I got to talk to Oliver who moved to Tulsa from Austin 20 years ago. Eating the bbq here and the smoke bologna culture, nothing was quite like home. So he made his own. I worked the bar at a wedding tonight, and Killer Wail catered. Everything was EXCELLENT! I had a beef rib, brisket and pulled pork. All of it tasted great, and the fat was rendered perfectly. The beans were smokey and sweet, and the potato salad was on point. Next time we're in Tulsa, we're pullin' up! Do you cater to OKC?
