Ronnie Killen, a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef and restaurant owner, is the force behind Killen's Steakhouse. It is a lavish steakhouse that sports an open layout with linen-clothed tables, a swanky marble-top bar, personal wine lockers, and a 1200-bottle wine tower. It has been named as one of the "Best Steaks in the U.S." as well as "Texas' Best Steakhouses" and "Houston's Best Steakhouse". One bite of the delicious food on offer and you will nod your head in agreement. Try the Wagyu long bone-in rib-eye or the crispy green ... read more

Delicious food in the suburbs... – Reservations are recommended (by phone) at this small, quaint restaurant. The exterior truly looks like a BBQ shack, but the interior is a cute, low-ceiling, simplistic, white table cloth restaurant. The waiters are knowledgable, the wine list is good, the food is excellent. The crab cake and fried roma tomatoes were delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, the side dishes are family-style. We had the creamed spinach and the potatoes au gratin, which were excellent. The Chicken Francese w... read more
Best food in Clear Lake / Pearland Area – Steak was the best I have had in the Houston area and the two people that had seafood were just as impressed. We had the crab cakes, which were great, and the fried tomatoes were definitely different and we are glad we tried them. Service was excellent. and the wine list was varied and very affordable. The only issues we had were that their beer choices are not nearly as good as their wine list and that the restaurant is loud.
Pearland locals covet this hidden gem steakhouse for Gulf Coast seafood, flavorful steaks and impeccable sauces. – The Scene Even before sampling the menu, diners will realize their coup as the barbecue shack exterior reveals a charming, white-tablecloth dining room. A subtle Western theme dominates with carefully chosen art, dark woods and ironwork accents. The atmosphere is crisp but casual as tables of regulars enjoy a visit from owner and Executive Chef Ronnie Killen. Servers are young but well-versed on the menu. The Me... read more
Great food, VERY BAD hostess, average service – This was our first visit (party of 6) to Killen's. We have no complaints about the entrees, the food was great. The deserts we did find a bit lacking...need to be kicked up a notch. However, the problem with Killen's is not the food...it?s the service. Upon arrival we found that there was an issue with our reservation, that it had not been recorded correctly and the hostess made it sound as if we were at fault. We received several excuses about the reservations, instead of simp... read more
food lover – Excellent steaks, best crab cakes we have every had. Dessert is as good as the best in Houston. Chef Killen was executive chef at Brenner's Steakhouse and has trained in Paris and went to Le Cordon Bleu. Everything was made in house.
Best value in Houston area – This is Pearland's first real steakhouse with the exception of the prices. Patrons get a 5 star meal well below what you would pay anywhere else. We've eaten here on two occassions and will be back many more. Both times my wife and I had incredible meals. The 16 oz ribeye was cooked to perfection and the chicken francese was an entree we'll get every time. Most recently, I had the 10 oz. filet mignon which was one of the best steaks I've ever had. I look forward to trying everything on the menu. ... read more
