You haven't fully experienced The Outer Banks until you've been to the Kill Devil Grill. Fronted by a 1939 Kullman dining car, the KDG has one of only 6 diners in the national registry of historic buildings. Our unique restaurant features table-top juke boxes, (non-functional) providing an opportunity to explain to your kids what a record is. An historic edifice is not the only attraction here, inside you will find friendly service and an enticing menu full of high quality food.

RecommendedI’ve been to Rome, San Francisco’s North Beach, and NYC’s Little Italy and the Village. But KDG’s marinara sauce (with grilled shrimp over angel hair pasta) was the best I ever had.
Kill Devil Grill has never disappointed us yet. It is a place we always visit while at OBX.
Got take out for dinner from the KDG and it was absolutely amazing. Service was fantastic and they had pickup down to a science. Can’t recommend highly enough ❤️

Always great food and wonderful customer service. With the current circumstances we are facing, Kill Devil Grill rocked the curbside service. From the easy online ordering to the very organized pickup, this place did a wonderful job. Our meals were as great as always. Highly recommended to support this business during this difficult time.
We just finished the BBQ family meal special and it was great! Picking up the meal was easy and food was warm when we got home. Everything was fantastic! We have left overs for lunch! Thanks KDG for a wonderful dinner!
Kill Drvil Grill has ALWAYS served the freshest quality food EVER!! And the staff. all live their jobs and it shows in the way they work and interact with you!! My absolute favorite restaurant on our entire OBX!!!
It is an awesome place to eat The food is wonderful. Their staff is friendly and very efficient. It is the first place we go when we come to the OBX.
