Inside, the decor is a bit dated, however the staff usually makes up for the anachronistic ambiance with their staid charm. The chicken mole was so good. I would have that again and again!
The chile colorado was superb; one of the best I have had anywhere.

Used to come here all the time in the late 80's. Was visiting El Paso and made it a point to come back. Very dissapointed....I ordered the machaca. Everything was runny and literally souped over the plate. Food was bland, cheese was bland and everything was flavorless. Brisket in the machaca was tough. Service was good. Beer was cold but I will probably never come back.
I had the number three plate and it was good I like to have it again
The food was delicious and served hot. The margarita was the best I have had in a long time!
The waitress made us feel like a bother but luckly another waiter saw that and helped us. He really saved the whole experience.
