I’ve been with northwestern medicine for years have seen multiple orthopedic physicians and general doctors but this visit by far was the most horrible experience I e ever encountered Dr kiesler walked in without a word looking down on his cell phone for a few awkward minutes completely dis engaged with was was going on w my visit I can go on more but only customer relations will have to take care of this type of treatment I’m only a patient seeking help that I was not provided in any order his staff is absolutely amazing bu... read more
Went to him for a second opinion on a diagnosis that a college of his made based on poor MRI results, which I am totally responsible for since I looked for the cheapest option. Nonetheless, while acknowledging the images were not good enough to make that diagnosis, he was uninterested in finding the true cause of my pain which prevailed and was extending from my thumb to my whole palm. Was extremely rude and dismissive and even said and I quote "I do not know why your hand hurts" period, without offering any way to solve tha... read more
I went to visit “dr” Thomas today. He does not deserve to be called doctor. Such a rude person, only interested in your money, not in you as a person. Do yourself a favor, choose another doctor.
Dr Kiesler and his nurse Patty were excellent-exceeded expectations. Explained everything, not rushed, presented treatment options, and reasons for his recommendation. Exceptional. So glad I found him!
Awesome with my young son for his hand surgery. Very straightforward, knowledgeable, took time explaining things to my son. Answered all of our questions.
Highly intelligent, incredibly knowledgeable, gives patients his undivided attention when you are with him. He listens willingly to patients even if to him the comments and questions seem routine. I have complete faith in him and often recommend him to others. Both my daughter, my Mother and I have seen him several times for a variety of reasons and our experiences have all been positive.
I wouldn't bother to visit this doctor unless you know for sure that you specifically need a hand surgery because he is not interested in the overall well being of the patient. Overall, curt behavior, like you are completely wasting his time even being there for a short 15 min appointment.
This was my third hand surgery with Dr. Kiesler, all for dupuytrens contractures . I simply can't say enough good things about him, his staff, and the consistent positive outcomes I've experienced. He is an excellent doctor. Their hand therapists are outstanding as well.
Two weeks ago I fractured my right ring finger Dr Kiesler placed a plate and 10 screws in one inch of my finger. Pain before surgery but never after. In only 2 weeks I have 90 % function of my finger and hand. Highly skilled surgery. Excellent office staff. 5 stars from me. PG
