We LOVED this place prior to new ownership. Even a year or so after new ownership was okay. But everything began to change slowly. Which was sad. Watching the therapist after therapist leave, which I do understand... Sadly they also raised the prices after first of the year for self pay. We’ve been at kids in motion for over 3 years.. we have always paid the same. Now they doubled the cost. Your kid gets sick and can not come in that day.. they simply do not care. WAS a great place for my son. The therapists (that were there in the last year but have now left) were very supportive and helpful. My son made so much progress with speech and OT but the clinical director, internal process for insurance and admin/billing were nightmares. I don’t blame the therapists for leaving, as they rightfully should find a place where they can be happy. However it does hurt my child with little consistency and low staffing. I can’t say enough about this therapy center. From the receptionist to the therapists on staff, they are all so kind, patient and caring towards the children and their families. My daughter has been going here for a year and a half and absolutely loves her speech therapist. She currently sees Lisa. I’ve seen such a massive improvement from when she started. My son is now starting speech therapy too and I can’t wait to see his progress.
Both Kristin and Emily from the OT department have helped our daughter with her initial feeding issues. Not only that but they focus on the child as a whole to make sure they are meeting their milestones!
Ms. Kristin V. was our son's OT and she was amazing. The rapport she had with him was immediate. She worked with him to increase his confidence in his writing ability and hand dexterity. He looked forward to going to see her, because they connected and had fun together. Could not be happier, and would definitely return and recommend Kristin V.
