I loved it, had brisket and ribs with collard greens and cornbread. Staff was helpful and funny. Great experience with my GF
Chicken and waffles were the bomb!!! I will definitely be back. Bartender could have been more friendly, but the serving staff were very kind!!!...I'll be back!!! Grits were delicious too...and the smoked ham that I had a bite of!!!!
Great atmosphere. Great service. I had a birthday party here and the entire team was helpful, positive and made sure my friends and I had all we needed, and wished me a happy birthday! The cheesy grits and fried chicken are my favorite!
The restaurant is beautiful, lots of love went into design and atmosphere. I just don't have the same connection with the food or the vodka drinks (it is a whiskey bar, fair enough). We had the gumbo, it was a small spoon of rice, some sausage bits and a few shrimp in an overdrenched soupy flavorless sauce. We tried some of the appetizers also and were equally not super impressed. Our server was extremely nice, but I thought she could have used some help. Been there a few times in past, and felt BBQ was passable, not outstanding. However we had Kickin Boot Christmas Eve and it was fantastic and reasonable. They also have a great atmosphere and staff.
Pulled pork and collard greens are very good. Sit at the bar and enjoy the games and good food!
