Over paid lease by $100 or more a month for a Kia K4, currently paying $416 for 36 months for a base model. This was with a $1000 down and an only $250 trade in for my 2010 Jeep Liberty. They didn't take time to review my DD214 to get the $500 Veteran discount. Next time I will use Chat GPT or Google Al to look up a proper lease amount. I purchased a 2026 Kia Sportage. Four days ago while slowing down for oncoming traffic to make a left turn, the vehicle suddenly and without warning accelerated without my foot on the gas pedal. Called for a check engine light, granted bought the 2021 Kia Seltos used but did not expect engine light come on 2 mnths after purchase. WE HAVE REQUESTED TO BE TAKEN OFF THE COMPANY SOLICITATION LIST. THIS COMPANY WILL NOT UNSUBSCRIBE AND EVERY ATTEMPT TO BLOCK THEM IS FUTILE. I took my vehicle to Merced Kia, owned by Fahrney Automotive Group, for routine scheduled maintenance. Ten days later, my car unexpectedly failed and had to be towed. Another dealership identified that the oil cap had not been properly secured during service, which caused catastrophic engine damage and resulted in my car being declared a total loss. I brought my car in because there was a 'squeak' noise coming from the rear of my car. They charged me a diagnostic fee and said there was build up in my brakes which was causing the noise, so they cleaned them but ALSO found a leak in one of the axels at the same appt (covered by warranty). The very next day the squeak noise was present in which I notified them right away. They told me to wait to for the axel to get fixed to see if that was the issue. Contacted this dealership with a pre approval. Picked a car out. Was working the deal. Sold the car I was working on a deal with them. Then to be told they had a black one. Awesome. I tell them I have pre approval numbers already and they say they are super close to those numbers etc. after asking for them to send me the numbers multiple times (they never did) I drive two hours down to see it and come to find out it’s an automatic. I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my experience with the Service Department at Jack Daniels Kia, which I believe reflects extremely poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and unacceptable vehicle handling—especially for a warranty repair.
