There was miscommunication about a car diagnostic at Kia of Alhambra and potential repair/engine replacement. After leaving my car there for 3 days, missing many appointments, including doctors and medical treatments, my understanding was that they (the dealership) was going to approach ************** about extending the car's engine warranty since I only have ****** miles on it and *** engines are notorious for burning oil (the reason I went there. Purchased a car 2 years ago, its now taking in water. Took the car to the dealer on Feb 25 2023 it is now 3/6/23 no update no call backs NO RENTAL and no transportation to work. Bad service will be following up with a call to corporate

I came down to purchase a used Prius that was listed on CarGurus and the dealership website for $14,223. I was helped my Manny Garcia who told me the price was $17k. I said it's listed online for $14,223. He said it was an error. I then inquired about the 2016 BMW i3. He told me that it was $17k as well. When I left I again checked CarGurus website and the Prius has been listed for 58 days and started at $15.8k and recently dropped to $14.2k. The BMW was listed for $13k online. My son (who is NOT car knowledgeable) took his 2013 Kia Rio to this dealership. It needed a smog check and had it's check engine light on. The service person with whom he spoke told him the car needed a new battery ($165), new spark plugs ($299 for just 4 plugs) and a new serpentine belt ($199). When my son told me about this advice from Kia of AlHambra, I called the service shop with whom I've been dealing for the last 10 or so years and in whom I have a great deal of confidence. As far as customer service is concerned at this dealership it's a minus 5. Just bought a car from Kia of Alhambra. The service advisor named gus called and said they won't do anything about the steering wheel "rubbing" noise when I turn the steering wheel, or the loud humming sound that sounds like a motorcycle, at exactly 60 miles an hour not at 55 mph or at 65 mph, only at 60 mph he attributed that to the tires, he said he won't do anything about that even though he hasn't even road tested the car, the cigarette smell and ... read more

If I could give their service department negative stars I would! At the time of this post I have been on hold for approximately 50 minutes. I dropped my car off at this dealership on 11/23. My car started to overheat on 11/16 and I drove it for less than 100 miles until 11/18 and parked it until I could get it to Kia of Alhambra because up until this experience, I have had great service and trusted them with my car.
