I have no problem with Dr. Kia. Her medical assisant was very mean over the phone when i called to refil a prescription. She yelled at me, that was something unexpected, unprofessional and down right abusive unheathly behavior for any human being to engage in, let alone her being a health care "professional". On other occations when I have visited Dr. Kia, upon entering the office the same medical assistant had an additude with me on multiple occations.
Dr Kia and her staff do not care about their patients, only about their bottom line. The policies of Dr Kia are outrageous, even when you urgently need an appointment. The staff is rude, argumentative, and of rather low intelligence, which causes issues with medical records and scheduling. I would recommend that you go to another doctor.
Dr. Kia's medical assistant is very argumentative. She is unprofessional, and rude. Not to mention impatient.
I had been seeing her for a little over a year and had had questionable experience with her and her staff. What cemented my decision to change was her lack of compassion, willingness to listen, lack of answering questions without an attitude and always sending me to specialists and after seeing those specialists she refused to treat those conditions so I always felt obligated to only see the specialists and wondered why I even dealt with her in the first place. I recommend not seeing her.
Dr Manisha Kia is a physician that is quick to make a diagnosis without listening and makes conclusions without throughly listening and without appropriate examination. For two years Made me feel as though I shouldn't be there and don't you know that certain conditions are for life. I now have been diagnosed and being treated for cancer because of her lack listening to my symptoms and not referring me to a specialist over a two year period.I have heard the same comments from other patients.
