Very affordable & awesome – Sure you can go to some super fancy, upscale spa in the city and pay a ridiculous amount of money for the same services art of natural offers...at way cheaper prices in just as nice facilities. Everything is clean and just what you need it to be. Sure it is a bit smaller and not as extravagant, but all of the employees are sooooo sweet and their deals are well worth it.
relax to the max – as a dude, i was kinda hesitant to go here but my lady really wanted me to join her for a spa day. i have no idea why i was so against it before--me being a man has nothing to do with being able to relax and have someone rub my back or make my skin extra soft!! and they did just that. the environment is sooo relaxing i had to work very hard to not fall asleep during my deep-tissue massage (altho i dont think they care if you do lol).
The worse SPA ever! – We had an awful experience. We purchased a Groupon deal for sauna/jacuzzi, and then a body scrub. The sauna was lukewarm. It did not feel hot at all! But the most horrible experience was a sea salt body scrub. First of all, there was no sea salt presence at all. When I asked the girl to show me the jar, the label read
mixed results – I booked 2 (underarms + forehead) $99 / 6 sessions livingsocial deals back in Jan 2011. Completed 4 sessions so far. I've had 12 sessions of laser done on underarms elsewhere before. So the underarm hair are easier to get rid of. At ANBC, I had Marisa (dark hair, heavy set lady) for the first 3 sessions. She was very friendly, but the results for the forehead was useless and I did see some improvement in underarm areas. Awesome Experience – This was the first spa I have been to in Brooklyn. I am used to upstate very spacious spas. Although it is much smaller than I am used to, every room serves a purpose. Details Matter! – New York spas have no equal for sheer opulence and detail. Most New York spas are as large, flashy and lavish as the hotels they’re in. Still impresses me each time.. – I was referred by my mother go to this spa. Not only was the spa very clean, up to date, and friendly, they accepted my walk-in appt where I was serviced quickly. My esthetician was awesome, very knowledgeable, personable and made me feel comfortable. I've been a client of there's for about a year now and have had nothing but the best service.
Great vibes – I scheduled two treatments at this spa. Not only was it beautiful with the ambiance and decor, but everything was well laid out, with the goal of relaxation in mind. The staff were all very courteous and the facialist and massage therapist were both especially welcoming. I would definitely go back again as I noticed a great improvement in my skin after one treatment.
Great staff, great atmosphere – I booked my appointment after a friend referred me to get laser hair removal, since she swears by it. I was hesitant on the cost aswell as pain factor.
