I saw Dr. Kho three times. He seemed caring, but his bedside manner was a bit off. We agreed I’d get an x-ray to check for metal from a past procedure before deciding between a CT scan or MRI. After the x-ray, his office called to schedule another visit just to “discuss” the results, even though we’d already outlined next steps. They said he couldn’t add notes to my chart without another paid visit (and a 30-mile drive). When I declined, they said they’d refer me back to my original doctor and mark me as “uncooperative.”
Our first visit involved a significantly longer wait time than expected — about two hours past the appointment time before being seen. The interaction felt somewhat impersonal and lacked empathy for my loved one, who is facing a serious health concern.During both visits, additional testing was repeatedly recommended, but we didn’t receive a diagnosis. I had originally scheduled my appointment at 2pm but their office called and wanted to reschedule for 9:45 but we settled on 12:00. I arrived five minutes early and filled out my paperwork with two patients in front of me. An hour and fifteen minutes later I was called back to an exam room. I waited another 45 minutes for the doctor to come in. So I have been waiting for two hours at this point. If you want to actually be treated for your condition than stay away. This doctor did a thorough exam but gave absolutely no help whatsoever. He was dismissive, acted like my problem wasnt an issue that he could help with and basically referred me to other doctors because he wasnt going to be able to help me. You can tell when a Dr just doesnt want to try and that was Dr Kho; at least in my case. I am grateful to Dr. Kho for his thoroughness. He diagnosed my problem and recommended exactly what I needed to overcome it. His staff is always courteous and efficient.
My experience with Dr. Kho and staff has been exceptional. He diagnosed my problem and showed great knowledge about the subject. I appreciate his patience with me in explaining it all to me. I found his staff to be warm while professional and helpful to me in all ways. I wholeheartedly recommend him.
Dr. Kho was very competent and kind. He explained everything well and gave me my options. During the tests, which are not totally comfortable, Dr. Kho made every effort to ensure my comort and safety. His staff was simply great.
Great experience. With good results with medical treatment
Dr. Kho began to see me 4-1/2 years ago. Barely walking and in a lot of pain he correctly diagnosed, and treated me for multiple neurologic conditions. I had bone, back & joint pain. He referred me to the UT Medical Center Pain Clinic under Dr. Gill and Dr. Amy Phelan. Needless to say, the pain management as well as Dr. Kho's continued followup care has allowed me to return to work full time as a managing consultant for 2 companies, handling Quick Books and Quicken. I am 72 years old.
