We hard carpet installed by these people a few weeks ago at which time we had a large window measured for wooden blinds. We paid cash upfront and had the downstairs measured for stone or ceramic flooring to do this month. Well after waiting a couple of weeks I had not heard from anyone regarding the blinds so Yesterday I drive up to their showroom to see what the status was. My salesman was out so I asked for help. The ladies behind the counter suggested that I check the large box laying on the floor and sure enough it had my name on it. That's all they knew. No telling how long it had been there because no one ever followed up with my order. I asked for someone to call me when they figured it out. I never got that call. I called the store today and spoke to an Evon (spelling?) and asked to speak to the owner or a manager. She asked who is this? I repeat my question. She says "I'm not sure I want you to speak with her...now WHO IS THIS!?" Enough for me. I'll never spend another dollar with these people. It's a shame that a business is at the mercy of one rude employee but there are plenty of flooring stores in this area where I can spend my money. I'm still waiting for the carpet job to be completed. It's been weeks and the carpet in the closet is just rolled up. I guess I'll need to hire another company to finish what I have already paid Keystone to do.

My wife and I contacted an interior designer and contractor who we had worked with before at another house and were absolutely knocked out with the quality work that he had done. This was the basis of our decision to hire him as he now works for Keystone. He came out to our high-rise and we talked about the project in detail. He was the one that came up with the estimate that we thought was rather low. He told us that he would make sure that the sub-contractors would come out to look over the project but that it would be at least three weeks due to another project and we were just fine with that. We waited three weeks and then four, five, six and seven with absolutely no contact even though we had started to make at least seven or eight calls which went unanswered. We emailed the address on the back of Rick Taylor's card with not one answer at least a half dozen times. I had even left a voice mail message that we were most likely to double the budget. NOT A SOUND. Finally, Monday the 6th I called Keystone and finally got a live person who said that she would pass on my message to him as he was "with a client". Still no response so around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, I called again and spoke with another person who said that she would pass on the message and again,my number. As of today, Sunday 12th of July, we still have not heard. I can understand him not having time for our project, or deciding that he had given us a low bid, or even deciding that our project was not worthy of his time or energy. However, the very idea of treating clients or prospective clients with this "Ghosting" attitude that if he ignored us, we would go away. I will always remember how we were treated and cannot say enough negative things about this company or about Mr. Taylor. Be Forewarned.

I would not recommend Keystone to anyone! – I spent 10s of thousands of dollars with this company in helping re-due the interior on my house. Issues I had: -Promised things would be done by a certain date only for it not to be done by then. This occurred numerous times. This was effectively poor management/planning of separate contractors. The contractors were constantly waiting on one another and there were several weeks when no work was done. Meanwhile my family is waiting/living elsewhere. -When they stripped the house, they ripped all the sink plumbing out in such a manner that they cracked the PVC pipes behind the wall. The walls had to be opened to fix the pipes. -They installed the wrong tile in our master bath shower floor. -The floor to wall trim used on the wooden floor is a different wood and the craftsmanship quality at corners is lacking. -We went through 3 different plumbers. One caused a leak upstairs which caused the down stairs ceiling to collapse. After installing a jet tub, one of their plumbers never tested it, never even turned it on. Keystone really didn’t seem to care about quality plumbing contractors, but rather interested is hiring cheep labor. After I effectively taught one of the contractors to install a shower valve by reading the directions to him, I said this is enough. I ended up doing some of the plumbing work myself. -Carpet ended up being ruined by a cleaning and we had Keystone request an inspection by the manufacture. Keystone received a report from the manufacture in mid Oct in about 2wks after the inspection. Keystone never called us to tell us they got the report let alone what the results were. I asked for the report on no less than 20 different occasions for over 5mon period. I finally got the report in mid May (7 months later). This only makes it harder for me to go after the cleaning company. If we hadn’t chased it up for 5 months we never would have seen the report. -We requested window blinds only to have them state the material wasn’t currently available and they placed a hold on the order. We phoned back 2months later only to get a similar answer. Keep in mind in order to get that answer it took several phone calls. We ended up phoning another outfit, and we got the exact same blinds in 2 wks after they measured. To sum up, poor management, poor quality of work and very poor communications. I would not recommend this company to anyone. TGC
