Pros: The 2 stars is simply for the fact that it was an easy place to get into which helped me in one of the worst times in my life while starting over. Thats where the pros end. Cons: 1. Maintenance. Impossible to get anything fixed. They will schedule appointments and confirm them but nobody ever arrives. I gave up after 2 months. If its something thats an emergency, thats very concerning. 2. Getting ahold of anyone in the office is nearly impossible as well. These apartments on Sylvan and Beverly (currently called The Beverly) are generally the worst quality housing, covered in a thick white paint and cheap new flooring for the illusion of decency. Unpleasant to live in because of shockingly paper thin walls, harmful to your health because of poor ability to heat adequately in winter and I believe not up to code with no humidity ventilation of any sort in the bathroom at minimum. Been renting here almost 2 years, and it’s been a struggle! They got me in with a very nicely renovated unit, it is cute, spacious and cheap. But the property management is awful. Maintenance does whatever they want. They just recently built a literal DUMP right in my front of my apartment. They constantly leave things lying around in my personal area around my unit; concrete blocks, piles of wood, piles of swept up trash in our parking spots, tire trenches from driving through the mud RIGHT in front of my porch. The Beverly is effortlessly elegant with stylish finishes and a boutique feel. Ideal for those who want a touch of luxury in their everyday living.
Never can get maintenance to show up, has cockroaches and mice. I would not live here unless you like to live in filth. Trash and mattresses everywhere. I would give minus stars if I could.
