When the KEYBAR with it's FIREPLACE opened it's doors in October 2002, it quickly became a local favorite. In the next couple of years, the KEYBAR continued to establish a strong presence in not only the East Village, but all five boroughs by winning several Best of New York awards on Citysearch and receiving overwhelmingly positive reviews on Yelp!, Zagat and many other online city guides. kickass – keybar kicks ass, plain n' simple. awesome atmosphere, cheap drinks, beautiful bartenders, incredible music. i am proud to have this as my neighborhood bar!
get your drink on! – my friends and i ordered food and the wonderful owner whole heartedly invited us to dine right in the lounge.. taking advantage of the $2 vodka cranberries.. amazing shot menu, wonderful vibe. we stayed there all night.. and we're going back soon kickin vibes and tunes.. great house music
awesome vibe! – I had my birthday here a few weeks ago, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was very laid back and friendly, the staff was great, and the drinks were yummy. The DJ was very accomodating to our random music requests, too. I will defintely be back and recommend it to all my friends! Thanks so much!
International Chill Crowd – Very cool vibe flowing out of this place..the fireplace is the best when its chillly and when its not the place has great atmosphere... probably the best part about this bar is the crowd it attracts - chill new yorkers and europeans...very cool Service gets a little slow when the bar gets packed, but the more the merrier, so be patient!
Lovely place – Cheers to the owners of this lovely place and many thanks for the Rolo shots! We can't wait to go back.
