After depositing my fathers check multiple times for the past 2-3 months, I went to deposit a refund check he received for my mother's hospice, since she passed away. I was told that my father had to be present for this to be deposited (mind you the entire check was going into his account). My father is disabled and can't leave the house. RecommendedI have been with Keybank since they took over Empire of America in the 1980s. The North Tonawanda branch on Payne Ave makes you feel special when you walk in they know so many of the customers by name it has a neighborhood feel. I appreciate all they do for me.
As a former customer of First Niagara Bank in North Tonawanda, Key Bank NOW charges for using the 'phone automated system and speaking with a rep. over the 'phone. I understand that Key Bank may be doing this to encourage use of online banking but it is precisely those who can't afford the internet who are punished for using the 'phone. Good bye,Key Bank.
