i read the reviews and i didnt experience anything of the such! our rooms was clean and the manager was very sweet
Our stay at the Key West Inn in Foley was the most disgusting I have ever experienced. The floors are dirty, the walls were filthey, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, there was mold growing all in the room. I have stayed in better \$40 hotel rooms. When we made the reservations you would exspect if you pay \$120 a night they would at least be halfway decent. Well that was not the case. We were suppose to stay 2 nights but left after one.
Given keys and told RM 101.There was no RM 101. Told then it was 110. Walked in RM already occuppied. Told then it was 111. Carpet so dirty it was slick. Had to wash feet to put shoes back on. Clerk at desk had her children running around desk. One child even was trying to get in cash register. Very horrible experience. Do not stay at this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We were very excited to try this hotel after seeing how beautiful it looked on line. When we arrived, the first thing I noticed was no clock/radio and after calling the front desk, they advised there are no clocks/radios. The bathroom grout was coming up making for an extremely dirty bathroom floor and leaving footprints when you walked. The rest of the bathroom looked pretty bad also. My daughter also woke up with a rash. I am glad we stayed so I now know when I see the Key West Inn sign, to keep on going!
I would not recommned this motel to anyone. The rooms are filthy. The bathroom floor was filled with other peoples hair. There were clumps of mud right on the floor in plain veiw. We stayed two nights, after the first night I had to buy a pair of house shoes because I could not stand the thought of stepping on the floor with or with out socks. I brought this to the attention of the maid who said she would take care of it, but didnt
My husband was invited on a fishing trip and the company booked a block of rooms at this hotel. I will not bore you with the details, but I will list the problems. Outside lights burned out, had to change the bulb ourself, floor in room was sticky, room smelled of old sweat, had to buy candles and air freshener,vanity light hardly ever worked, had to look for front desk clerk, bought own batteries for television remote, door keys NEVER WORKED!! If you dont mind sleeping on a mattress full of straw than this is the hotel for you.
do not try to talk to them over the phone about priceing I was told by two diffrent people that my room rate would be 69.00 a night but after driving 100 miles to get there for Spring Break I walk in to get my room and get told it would be 100.00 a night. I did not even stay for that price I went just behind them and got a room from Comfort Suites which was a whole lot nicer and cleaner. During my stay I noticed the police at the Key West Inn several times.
