The gallery has an impressive selection of paintings and artwork — there was plenty that caught our eye. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened by an overeager salesperson who followed us throughout and talked excessively, to the point where we lost interest in making a purchase. A little breathing room goes a long way.
We purchased a Super Mario sculpture from this gallery a year ago. We are still waiting for a certificate of authenticity. Back in August 2025, we asked when we would receive it and were told that it had been mailed. To this day, we have not received one. Until we receive this certificate, we assume that we have been scammed. Furthermore, we noticed that when the sculpture arrived, it did not bear the signature of the alleged artist “Artdematteo.”
A must visit in Key West! Ask for Matteo!
I had the pleasure to work with Matteo with the purchase of an initial artwork from artist Thomas Arvid in November 2025. I was so happy with the service and the safe delivery to my home in Chicago area that I decided to have a customized second artwork made by the same artist.
