Injected into my body a medication that I am allergic to. The allergy is documented in the UCSD system and is clearly stated in the After Visit Summary that he signed. Shocking negligence that puts me in a life-threatening situation. Beyond incompetent. Additionally, lacks ability to communicate effectively with patients. He is patronizing, rude and disrespectful. I read a bad review and I couldn’t disagree more. Dr. Truman’s saw that we did have a serious situation, Cancer, and got us In right away. Took out the cancerous tumor and we’ve had a very successful outcome. Prior to the doctor receiving the results of an MRI we couldn’t get an appointment but the minute he saw them, he squeezed us in. He told us his intent was to cure the cancer. So far so good. Actually saved my husband‘s life.
Dr Brumund was referred by an outstanding dermatologist who stated that he was the best in his field. I am indebted to her for this recommendation. Dr Brumund is knowledgeable, confident and kind. He explained the procedure and the rationale for it. I highly recommend him
