I went to Dr. Tong for more than 15 years for a hyperthyroid and hyperparathyroid. He was wonderful. He encouraged me to be a part of my healthcare decisions, offered objective opinions, and gave me the best possible care, leading me to remission. Without reservation, I highly recommend him.
If you're a woman, he is a typical male Doctor. Doesn't listen stupid solutions, drink a protein shake, kill yourself on the treadmill, see you in 6 months. And his office is raggedy. Even if you have to pay more get a five star women endocrinologist who will help you find the problem.
Love Dr Tong. He is very efficient and direct and knew what was going on with me before bloodwork and a brain scan confirmed it. He is accessible and caring. Don't be surprised if he answers the phone or calls you himself. I continue to be a very satisfied patient.
