Dr. Markham is the best dentist in the state, possibly in the country, and that's not something I'd say lightly. He listens to his patients. He finds solutions. He mitigates pain and discomfort. Specifically, his pediatric dentistry is the best. He's very gentle with children, and finds ways to help them feel comfortable with the operations, and reasonably reassured about recovery. We absolutely love Dr. Markham but my daughter got a retainer back in May of 2020 and her father and myself were told by the staff that our insurance would cover the cost so we had her retainer made and placed. Well fast forward to the Month of September when were told we have to pay for the retainer $400 because our insurance wont cover it. Over 4 months of her having it!! I called our dental insurance and they told me the Dental office never did a pre-authorization form which is what they should have done before doing anyt... read more
